Set up Gelato in 5 minutes

Link your Gelato account to automatically create product drafts from OneClickRemix designs — apparel, mugs, posters, and more. Each Gelato draft includes SEO copy and mockups, ready to publish on your Etsy store in one click.

1
Connecting your Gelato account Paste your API key on My account
  1. Go to the Gelato dashboard → Developer → API keys.
  2. Add an API key, give it a name (e.g. OneClickRemix key), save, then copy the key to your clipboard.
  3. Go to My accountPrint on demand supplier, paste the key, and click Connect Gelato.
2
Connecting your Gelato stores to OneClickRemix Add each Gelato shop to your Store library

After connecting, add every Gelato shop you sell on in My account (Store library). You can add as many stores as you need.

  1. Go to the Gelato dashboardStores, open a shop.
  2. Copy the UUID from the URL:
    …/stores/6ada0d2f-73f4-41f4-af92-91911c22171d/products
  3. Paste the UUID into Store library and click Add. Optionally add a shop name to push products to the right store more easily.

After a remix is done, you will be able to choose which Gelato store you want to push your new product to.

3
Creating product templates in Gelato Pick products, set variants, test a design placement

A template is your reusable product setup (variants, print area, description, pricing…). Once your remix is generated, you will be able to select one of your templates. OneClickRemix will fill in the design, title, and tags of your template and add a new product draft to your Gelato account, ready to publish in one click.

Quick path

  1. Gelato dashboard → TemplatesCreate a template.
  2. Pick any mug, apparel, or poster from the catalog.
  3. Select the sizes / colors / formats you want to sell by default (you can edit them separately for each product before publishing).
  4. In the editor: upload a placeholder design (see below) and adjust the placement. The OneClickRemix design will replace this image when creating a new product.
  5. Click + Save design.
  6. Click Continue to Mockups. Set the default mockups for your listing.
  7. Click Continue to Details. Set a default description with generic store and product info (materials, care instructions, shipping times, your brand story…). This description is kept on every product. OneClickRemix will add a SEO copy optimized for the audience of your product above the description of your template.
  8. Click Continue to Pricing. Set default pricing.
  9. Click Continue to Review, then Save template. Give your template a clear name so you can find it easily in OneClickRemix.

Placeholder designs

Below, you can find placeholder designs to add to your templates. OneClickRemix will automatically replace these placeholder designs with the Remixed designs when creating new product drafts.

If you have multiple placeholder designs on your template, they will all be replaced by the Remixed visuals (ex: recto and verso of a mug).

You can add other designs (ex: your brand logo), they will stay untouched.

OneClickRemix uses the placement you set in Gelato. Open the template in Gelato, reposition or enlarge the print area, save the template, then run a new remix.

Make sure the format of the design you are generating matches the format of the design on your template. For example, pushing a 3x4 portrait design on a square design will cause issues (cropping, ratio…).
